HOW TO CLEAN OUR HEAD COLLARS, LEAD ROPES & BOWBANDS
Remove the sheepskin or faux fur nose and headbands.
Real sheepskin // We recommend using Woolskin Premium Woolwash for best results.
Faux fur // Can be machine washed at 30°C
We also recommend using a Sheepskin brush, to keep the fur beautifully soft and springy.
Cleaning // For best results we would recommend you clean the head collar, lead rope and brow band with either warm soapy water or baking soda and vinegar. Rinse with cold water. A tooth brush or nail brush are perfect for this job. Air dry.
We do not advise machine washing or using tumble dryers.
HOW TO CARE FOR THE HARDWARE
We recommend to preserve the shiny plated finish, that dirt is removed from each piece and use a soft cloth to polish. Please note that some of our pieces have a ‘black infill’ for the letters and design to make them stand out. This may wear off with time and lots of cleaning.
HOW TO CARE FOR OUR RUGS
Remove all dirt first with a stiff brush. Our rugs can be machine washed. We recommend at a launderette, as the machine drums are much bigger. This should be 30°C, preferably with natural soap flakes.
To ensure the hardware maintains its shiny finish, we recommend to wrap in strips of fabric or tape, to protect them from scratching and chipping during the machine’s cycle.
The rugs are best air dried flat. Quilted rugs can be tumble dried, but all hardware must be protected during heat drying to prevent damage.
HOW TO CARE FOR SADDLE PADS
As for rugs remove hair and dirt with a stiff brush. Machine or hand wash at 30°C, preferably with natural soap flakes.
Air dry for best results.
